Technical condition: very good, tested.

This means the devices are calibrated, perform 100% complete measurements, and are regularly heated up at least once a month for 12 hours.

It is possible to perform an on-site transformer oil test – naturally, the sample will be pre-checked to allow for comparative results, as seen in the photos.

The MYRKOS chromatograph performs Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA) in electrical insulating oils. It allows the detection of incipient faults in power transformers and other equipment containing insulating oil (reactors, instrument transformers). It also enables analysis of gases extracted from Buchholz relays!

The MYRKOS chromatograph is extremely precise, compact, and provides comprehensive detection of key fault gas concentrations for oil condition assessment. A calibration gas standard (gas cylinder) ensures traceability with concentration reference standards. Prior to each analysis, the instrument is calibrated and a functional check is carried out. A specialized shake syringe (included) ensures correct volume ratios. An excellent solution for oil laboratories at power utilities and research institutes serving the power industry. The PPMReport software, including a Polish language version, is included. Built-in diagnostic tools: Duval Triangle and Rogers Ratios.

Used by utilities, grid operators, and laboratories supporting the power and industrial sectors. The field version is equipped with a special pressurized carrier gas container (helium, purity 99.999%). Supplied with shake syringes for preparing a gas extraction pad, as well as syringes for calibration and air tests.

The MYRKOS chromatograph analyzes concentrations of gases dissolved in insulating oil (DGA), enabling the detection of developing faults in power transformers or other apparatus containing insulating oil (such as reactors or instrument transformers). It also facilitates analysis of gas extracted from Buchholz relays. The MYRKOS is highly accurate, compact, and ensures full coverage for relevant fault gas concentrations needed for oil assessment.

We have two identical, fully operational units available. If two units are purchased, the price for one will be 50% lower.

We recommend inspecting and testing the instrument on site before purchase (testing is possible). Last test performed: 21.11.2025, compared with another Myrkos unit (verification conducted in a certified laboratory).
