UniCen Series – For large, complex components

With the Monforts UniCen 1000 series machine tools, you can fully and efficiently machine large, complex components (up to 1,500 mm turning length and 1,000 mm swing diameter) in a single setup, ensuring high process reliability and cost-effectiveness. The five interpolating axes offer great flexibility. The boring/milling head, rotatable around the B-axis with a 190º swivel range, can position tools in nearly any orientation and angle to the workpiece.

Additionally, the tool head can be automatically equipped with up to 60 tools from a chain magazine using a fully automatic tool changer, enabling the efficient machining of even complex free-form surfaces with high surface quality.
