Urządzenie pozwala również na ustawienie długości wycofania drutu w milimetrach, a po ostygnięciu materiału możliwe jest ponowne, precyzyjne podanie drutu (najmniejszy krok 0,1 mm). To bardzo istotna funkcja podczas spawania laserowego i stanowi wyraźną przewagę nad podajnikami z Dalekiego Wschodu, gdzie funkcja wycofania i podania drutu jest ustawiana czasowo, a tym samym końcówka drutu nigdy nie wraca dokładnie do pozycji początkowej. Podajnik Citronix zaprojektowany został tak, aby mógł kontrolować nie tylko samo podawanie drutu, ale także zarządzać (włączać i wyłączać) zarówno źródłem lasera, jak i zaworem magnetycznym gazu. To kolejna istotna różnica i przewaga względem innych producentów, gdyż zazwyczaj w spawarkach laserowych nie ma technologii spawania punktowego. Jeśli więc ktoś chce stosować metodę spawania punktowego blach, może ustawić czas spoiny punktowej, a podajnik będzie sterował źródłem lasera. Podajnik oferuje 4 technologie pracy: 1. spawanie ciągłe z podawaniem drutu, 2. spawanie ciągłe bez podawania drutu, 3. spawanie punktowe bez podawania drutu, Podajnik posiada 200 komórek pamięci – ustawione parametry można zapisać pod dowolną nazwą tekstową lub liczbową, co znacznie ułatwia obsługę.
