• The machine was purchased in 2011 as a factory-reconditioned and electronically upgraded (new) machine directly from the manufacturer MIKROMAT!
• Universal machine for automatic grinding of single and multi-start worms as well as threads with straight and curved flanks using single- or multi-profile grinding wheels.
• The following grinding operations can be performed via simple cyclic operator guidance in the SCHLEICHER PLC control system PROMODUL U: longitudinal grinding, relief grinding, plunge grinding, groove grinding, taper grinding. In these operations, infeed and compensation occur automatically. For relief grinding and taper grinding, cams are additionally needed; division is done via change gears!
• Grinding wheel hand dressing device for profiling single-profile wheels, left and right flank
• Non-driven steel pressure roller burnishing device for mounting above the grinding wheel
• Open rest for mounting on the grinding table, and closed 3-point rest
