Attention – Do not buy used metallography equipment! Anyone familiar with metallography knows: “used” unfortunately means “worn out” in this context. Unless these devices are cleaned thoroughly on a daily basis, the high operational load will turn them into total losses within a few years.

The ECOPRESS 102 is an automatic hot mounting press featuring an electrohydraulic pressure system—so it does not require a separate compressed air connection. The system operates with a working pressure up to 300 bar and an embedding temperature up to 200°C. Embedding time is freely programmable up to 60 minutes. Thanks to its fully automatic program cycle and integrated automatic cooling system, fast cycle times are ensured: Thermostatically controlled heating and cooling cycles, 1650 W heating output, automatic cooling process.

The ECOPRESS 102 is supplied with a single press cylinder and piston (optional intermediate piston for two samples) available in diameters of 25 / 30 / 40 / 50 mm (and inch sizes). The EXOPRESS 202 offers two mounting cylinders. Completion of the embedding process is signaled acoustically by the machine. Delivery is ready for operation (including the embedding cylinder, piston, and optional intermediate piston for two samples as required for your application). Necessary connections: 230V / 50 Hz, 1 phase (220V), water supply and drain.
