The machine is theoretically capable of cutting logs up to 250 cm in diameter, as the saw head can be raised to a great height. Wheel diameter is approx. 140 cm, saw blade widths range from 130–160 cm. The thickness/height adjustment mechanism has been completely rebuilt, featuring a new gearbox and new electronics for thickness calculation (see pictures). We currently have a selection of 3 different saw carriage models in stock: 1. Modern Schulte saw carriage, 1.5 m x approx. 10.0 m, hydraulically prepared but not fully functional. 2. Older Schulte saw carriage, 1.5 m x approx. 10.0 m, prepared for manual clamping device. Supplied with Schulte saw carriage drive unit. 3. Conversion of the saw carriage to hydraulic log clamping with 5 stations. Price: €15,000 (we can put you in touch with a specialist for this conversion). The saw has already been dismantled and is ready for loading ex-stock in 27367 Bötersen. Installation is straightforward, as the frame is manufactured in sections.
