V praksi to pomeni stabilno in učinkovito sesanje onesnaževal tudi pri intenzivnem delu in velikem izločanju dima (npr. pri neprekinjenem varjenju, varjenju debelejših elementov, daljših varjenje). Robustna konstrukcija in mobilnost OS1400 je oprema za vsakodnevno uporabo, zato je bil velik poudarek dan na visoko kakovost izdelave.
