Description:
The new ZSX-TWIN Ec carpentry chainsaw is the practical solution for large-size construction timber components. With the development of this dual-motor chainsaw, MAFELL has set a new benchmark, allowing tasks that were previously almost impossible or extremely time-consuming to be completed effortlessly and with precision. With a rated power of 3000 watts, even a single CUprex motor brings a standard 230 V power circuit to its limits. Operating two CUprex motors simultaneously would overload any standard household circuit. By distributing the load across two circuits, the dual-motor ZSX receives the power it needs. This is exactly what a three-phase power supply offers, as each phase is separately protected, preventing circuit overload.

Benefits:
Thanks to the use of standard power technology, the ZSX TWIN delivers 6000 W rated output while weighing only 20 kg. This allows for longitudinal cuts up to a cutting depth of 400 mm! Corner cut-outs are frequently required in timber construction and solid wood wall processing. The upright position of the cutting tool enables fast and precise production of cut-outs and lap joints, eliminating the need for complex turning of the workpieces. The heart of the ZSX-TWIN Ec is its two 3000-watt single-phase motors, which operate in parallel on two 230 V phases from the three-phase supply. The ZSX can be tilted precisely from -15° to 60° according to the scale.
