The latest generation of Morgana folding machines takes process automation to a new level, as it can detect paper length and automatically set the fold plates and delivery system according to the required fold type. All the operator needs to do is select the correct fold type from the display on the control panel, and the machine does the rest.

The number of job programs is limited only by memory capacity and is in the thousands.

The machine is especially suitable for processing output from digital printing presses, as it is equipped with anti-static brushes as standard.

The Morgana Docufold is supplied as standard with a programmable batch counter, and is prepared for perforation and scoring attachments.

All controls are centralized in one location, including the batch counter and feeder control.

Paper is fed using a vacuum system, supported by an adjustable air blast and a side register, ensuring trouble-free separation and precise feeding into the folding plates. This vacuum feed system is a guarantee for reliable processing even of coated papers.

Sheet length is monitored by a photo sensor, preventing jams in the fold plates. The machine has been designed to be fully operable by personnel without prior knowledge of print finishing.
