KVK 5

Our KVK 5 is a semi-automatic rotary arm wrapper which, compared to our turntable wrappers, offers the advantage that your pallets can be placed at ground level for the wrapping process. This makes it equally ideal for both light and unstable as well as heavy goods, as no centrifugal forces are generated and there is no load capacity to consider.

Additionally, the KVK 5 model is equipped with a pre-stretch system for 250% stretch. With this pre-stretch system, you can produce up to 3.5 meters of film at the pallet from just 1 meter of film on the roll, significantly reducing your material consumption.

With the KVK 5, only minimal application tension is exerted, so that even light goods are not pulled off the pallet.

The only operations that still need to be done manually on this wrapper are attaching and cutting off the film.

With a machine weight of almost 1,000 kg, you can see how robust and stable this wrapper is constructed.

With its rotary arm, it can wrap pallets with a maximum size of up to 1.00 x 1.20 x 2.40 m.

With adjustable speeds for the rotary arm and film carriage, as well as a potentiometer-controlled pre-stretch unit, you can perfectly adjust the automated wrapping process to your product. Automatic pallet detection (via photocell) is standard, just like adjustable top and bottom wraps. Available programs include "up only" wrapping, "up & down" (cross wrap), and "weatherproof" wrapping.

An optional photocell for detecting dark goods or black film is available, and this wrapper can be supplied either for wall mounting or with the stand feet shown in the pictures.

We recommend this model if it is important for you to avoid having to move your goods over a ramp – for instance, because they are too heavy or unstable. Since in this design the rotary arm moves around the pallet, no centrifugal force is generated. This, together with the low application tension of the pre-stretch system, makes the KVK 5 ideally suited even for very light goods.
