Application:
Lehmann gravity band filters PF are band filters for cleaning coolants (KSS) used in chip-removal machining processes.
Can be used as a standalone cleaning unit for machine tools or in combination with chip conveyors
Generally used locally (for one machine tool)

Filter process description
1. Contaminated liquid flows via the inlet box into the filter basin
2. The filter fleece retains the contamination particles during flow-through
3. The contamination particles form a filter cake, which also filters even the smallest particles
4. The clean liquid collects in the clean tank

Regeneration process
1. The growing filter cake increases flow resistance
2. The liquid level in the filter basin rises
3. At a defined level, the belt drive switches on (alternatively: timer-controlled)
4. The carrier belt transports a piece of clean filter fleece onto the filter surface
5. The liquid level drops again
6. A sludge container collects the soiled filter fleece
