In comparison to the KVK 2 MA, it is equipped with a recess that allows for ground-level loading with a manual pallet truck. The only operations that must still be performed manually on this wrapper are attaching and cutting the film. Weighing 700 kg, this model is also designed for professional use and has a load capacity of up to 1,500 kg. The 1A features a 1,500 mm turntable and, as standard, can wrap pallets up to 2,400 mm in height. Both turntable and film carriage speeds are adjustable, and the very finely adjustable electromagnetic brake is controlled via potentiometer, allowing you to tailor the automated wrapping process perfectly to your product. Automatic pallet detection via photocell comes as standard, as do adjustable top and bottom wraps. Wrapping programs are available for "up only," "up & down" (cross wrapping), and "weatherproof" modes. The machine can also be operated manually if required. Recommendation: The KVK 1A is ideal where ramps cannot be used due to space constraints or when particularly heavy or unstable goods should not be pushed onto the turntable via a ramp.
