It is suitable for the use of bi-metal and carbide-tipped saw bands. Guidance of the saw unit is via a vertical and a round column guide (double-column guide) with hardened and ground guide rails. The saw band tension and the pre-tensioned carbide saw band guides are both hydraulically operated. Material clamping is achieved with two hydraulic vices. The machine operation is user-friendly. Cutting length can be precisely set with a handwheel, with 0.1 mm resolution. Quantity setting is managed via a piece counter; once the target quantity is reached, the machine automatically stops. Material feed is controlled by a feed cylinder, delivering the highest accuracy in section length. The machines are easy to operate and run fully automatically.
