The KS 1000/2 twin-shaft shredder is a powerful reduction machine, featuring a completely machined, solid grinding chamber. It is assembled from four interlocking and bolted components, ensuring outstanding stability and exceptional maintenance accessibility.

The machine is powered by two high-performance electric motors, which drive two counter-rotating hexagonal shafts via heavy-duty, high-quality planetary gearboxes. The hexagonal shafts can be equipped with custom-manufactured cutting discs in various thicknesses. The grinding chamber of the KS 1000/2 is double-protected by wear plates and wear rings for complete armoring against abrasion.
