THE COST-EFFECTIVE BENDING MACHINE FOR TIGHT BEND RADII:

The bending machine with free-standing bending head can be easily converted for complex geometries to switch between right- and left-hand bending. The plug-in bending tools allow for quick changeover to other tube sizes. A fast hydraulic system reduces auxiliary processing times, which is a key factor in series production.

The clamping pressure for the tube hold-down is adjustable for optimal results. The PLC control unit (freely expandable via USB stick) with data storage and the latest X2X interface can store almost unlimited numbers of programs for bending angles, lengths, and rotational angles for up to 50 bending sequences per tube length. For monitoring springback values, a freely programmable database for up to 200 materials is available.

The machine offers two operating modes: In “Simple Bending,” the lengths and rotations of the bends relative to each other are automatically displayed. In “Controlled Bending” mode, the data is pre-set, and a continuous target/actual value comparison is performed during bending.

This design eliminates positioning errors within a tolerance window, significantly minimizing user-related error rates. General error messages are displayed in full text on the large screen. The mandrel retraction is programmable and can be automatically withdrawn early on reaching the bending angle.

The compact drive unit with detachable mandrel holder provides advantages for on-site installation as well as for special designs with very large tube feed, and is also available as a stationary version with a tool and mandrel bar organizer. The affordable alternative to a fully controlled CNC machine.
