THE COST-EFFECTIVE BENDING MACHINE FOR TIGHT BENDING RADII:

The bending machine with a free-standing bending head can be easily converted for demanding geometries to right- or left-hand bending. The plug-in bending tools enable quick changeovers to different tube sizes. Fast hydraulics to reduce downtimes is a key factor for series production.

The clamping pressure for tube holding can be optimally adjusted. The PLC control system (expandable via USB stick) with data storage and the latest X2X interface can store a virtually unlimited number of programs for bending angles, lengths, and rotation angles for up to 50 bending sequences per tube. For monitoring springback values, a freely programmable database for up to 200 materials is available.

The machine features two operating modes: In "Simple Bending", the length and rotation of each bend relative to each other are displayed automatically. In "Controlled Bending" mode, the data is stored beforehand, and during the bending process, a continuous target/actual comparison is performed.

As a result, mispositioning within a tolerance window is ruled out and user-related error rates are minimized. General error messages are shown in full text on the large screen. The mandrel retraction is programmable and can automatically retract early when the bending angle is reached.

The compact drive unit with detachable mandrel holder offers benefits for installation on site as well as for special designs with large tube feed, and is also available as a stationary version with a tool and mandrel rod organizer. The cost-effective alternative to a fully controlled CNC machine.
