THE MANDREL BENDER WITH MANUAL CLAMPING

This mandrel bending machine with manual eccentric quick-release clamping for tube fixation enables efficient bending operations. The compact drive unit with detachable mandrel support offers advantages during on-site installation. Direct position detection on the bending axis ensures optimum bending precision. The bending angle can be set quickly and easily via a convenient touchscreen controller with a user-friendly, menu-driven interface. The advanced control system allows for two speed settings as well as a configurable overbending feature for compensating material springback.

The bending process is significantly shortened by the automatic “return” movement at the end of the bend. For more complex bending tasks, bending programs can be stored, offering up to 50 bend angles per geometry. An almost unlimited number of programs and up to 200 materials can be saved to the controller or a USB stick. Plug-in bending tools allow for fast changeover to different tube sizes. For challenging geometries, the machine can be converted as standard to either right-hand or left-hand bending directions. The open bending unit also allows for bends such as railing frames with only a single weld seam. Optional PC calculation software determines the cut length for the entire geometry as well as the feed path, twist, and bending angle for every individual bend. The mandrel retraction is programmable and can be automatically triggered once the predefined bending angle is reached.
