IR dryer for 28” (50x70 cm) paper and cardboard processing, for example in the delivery section of a 28” offset press. The lamp housing contains 18 lamps of 1kW each; the frame in which everything is mounted and soldered is liquid-cooled, preferably with coolant. The warm air is managed by 2 blowers—one for supplying cool air and one for extracting warm air in the event of a paper jam or crash, where the machine would stop feeding sheets into the delivery. In such cases, the lamps are switched off and the hot air is forcibly extracted. Everything is clearly indicated in the schematics, which are all complete.
