In principle, it is also important to ensure correct cooling of the workpieces. For metallic materials, coolant lubrication is essential. For non-metallic materials, such as plastics, brass, or cast iron, coolant lubrication is not required.

Crucial for the optimal use of metal circular saw blades is selecting the appropriate tooth pitch, tailored to the cross-section and quality of the material to be processed.
