The Alpine AFC Flake Crusher is designed for the gentle comminution of brittle, easy-to-break products to reduce their size. It can produce granules with minimal fines due to its gentle crushing action, ensuring controlled maximum particle size without generating unwanted fines. This equipment is suitable for coarse grinding, achieving particle sizes between 0.5 and 10 mm depending on the processed product. The AFC can be used for homogenizing blends, granulating flakes, breaking up agglomerated materials or lumps, increasing bulk density and improving flow characteristics of compacted materials. It is equipped with a rotary grinding tool that can be used with a choice of screens based on your specific process needs. Quick screen changes minimize equipment downtime. Suitable for use in various sectors including the pharmaceutical and food industries.
