Functioning of the spotting press:

Control operation modes:
The control features "Manual" and "Semi-automatic" mode.

In manual mode (joystick operation):

- The table can be hydraulically extended and retracted at max. 30 mm/sec
- The table can be hydraulically tilted up to the set angle at max. 25 mm/sec
- The ram plate can be hydraulically lowered and folded by 90° and extended up to 180°
- Pressureless movement is possible
- Pressure can be set via the monitor
- The speed can be adjusted between 1 and 10 mm/sec
- An additional hydraulic cylinder (core pull, etc.), located on the tool, can be controlled

In semi-automatic mode:

- The ram can perform rapid traverse up to 10 mm/sec
- A pre-programmed cycle (input via monitor) can be executed. Example:
- 30 t pressure
- Upper limit 300 mm

Joystick function:
The lever can be pulled (downward motion) or pushed (upward motion). The more it is pulled or pushed, the faster the machine moves. 1 to 10 mm/sec for downward travel and 1 to 25 mm/sec for upward motion are possible.

Monitor view:
On the large touchscreen monitor, the ram position, set pressure, and active speed are always visible.
In semi-automatic mode, all cycle values are displayed. They can be saved or loaded as needed.

The control panel consists of two-hand operation, the joystick, the emergency stop button, and the mode selector for:

- Table extension/retraction (two-hand operation active)
- Table tilt up/down (two-hand operation active)
- Ram raise/lower (joystick active)
- Ram plate lower/raise (two-hand operation active)
