Heesemann KSA 8 Belt Sanding Machine, 2,600 mm Working Width — Wide Belt Sander

The sanding line consists of:

1. Machine Frame
Designed to accommodate the conveyor bed, with options to attach 1 sanding unit and 1 brushing unit.

2. Conveyor Bed
Individual conveyor belts, feed speed adjustable from 5 to 25 m/min (frequency controlled). Constant working height of 920 mm. Thickness adjustment (3–80 mm) via height adjustment of the entire upper machine segment. Includes monitoring of the timing belts for lift gearbox at adjustment speed of 3 mm/sec. Integrated control cabinets included.

3. Industrial PC 21.5"
Capacitive multi-touch color display (1920 x 1020 pixel), CF card, Windows Embedded Standard OS, with production data acquisition (display of production and downtime). Ethernet connectivity available. Memory for 1,000 programs with storage and automatic selection of motor speeds per program.

4. Profinet interface for master control integration.

5. Longitudinal Sanding Unit with Contact Roller for Calibration (Steel)
Balancing quality Q 1 (fine balanced) as per VDI 2060, driven by Poly-V belt, maintenance-free bearings. Roller diameter: 350 mm. Abrasive belt size: 3,250 x 2,650 mm. Belt speeds: 1–24 m/s. Drive power: 37 kW with frequency inverter. Infinitely variable sanding belt speed, wear-free braking system, intermittent belt cleaning device, automatic infrared belt tracking, reverse sanding direction, manual grit compensation. Infeed: segmented, pneumatically controlled pressure lip. Outfeed: continuous, pneumatically controlled pressure lip.

6. Brush Roller Unit
Central height adjustment, complete with extraction hood and pressure roller. Brush material: horsehair. Diameter: 250 mm. Drive power: 5.5 kW.

7. Workpiece Vacuum Clamping System
For secure feeding of workpieces shorter than 750 mm, including integrated fan. Operating voltage: 400V, 50Hz.

8. Ionization Bar (Top-Mounted)

With rotating compressed-air nozzles at machine outfeed, including extraction hood.
