Extraction fan, "DER4" series for clean-air side installation, single-sided suction, direct drive. Key design features:
- Scroll housing made of galvanized sheet steel, pre-configured for horizontal installation in MultiStar series filters
- IEC standard motor
- High-performance impeller with backward-curved blades, designed for clean-air extraction
- Suction nozzle with spark protection strip
- Impeller made of welded steel, statically and dynamically balanced

Note: For explosion protection reasons, the fan is not suitable for conveying explosive dust/air mixtures!

MultiStar filter in modular design, with vibration cleaning for installation outside hazardous explosive areas. Design features:
- Galvanized, self-supporting sheet steel construction
- Pressure surge resistance 200 mbar (certified by DEKRA—test report 342863200a-23ExA-Sip)
- Maximum housing underpressure resistance: 5,500 Pa (avoid pulsating stress)
- EC type-approved burst disks
- Filter section with weather protection cladding, inspection door(s) and required number of exhaust outlets (depending on air volume)

Note:
According to DIN EN 12779:2016 Sec. 5.4.2.3, the water connection must be located 0.4 m to 0.8 m above the floor and must be safe and easily accessible for connection of a fire hose in case of fire. The BGHM also recommends installation of a dirt trap in the riser pipe. The necessary components, materials, and labor for this are not included in the base price of the dry riser and must be provided separately by the customer or as a custom installation with a special height of 3,000 mm. The subframe is not included in the scope of delivery and is specified separately.
