Quicker edge bevelling machine using the rotary shear method for beveling technology.
These QUICKER machines utilize the rotary shear process. In this method, a long chip is sheared off from the sheet edge by means of a slowly rotating cutting wheel. This allows processing speeds of up to 3.1 m/min (up to 5 times faster than conventional methods) to be achieved.
Profitability is further increased by the low wear of the tools. This method is among the most efficient options for weld seam preparation. Cost savings compared to traditional methods can reach up to 75%.
Fast, compact, user-friendly, and with stepless angle adjustment from 15° to 55°, this machine is one of the most popular bevelling machines. The practical scissor lift trolley can be adjusted over a wide range for support height, allowing the machine to easily move along fixed sheet panels. Of course, the Quicker II can also be operated on a crane.
To machine the underside bevel, the unit is rotated 180°. The upper bores align with those in the machine feet. Many customers order two of these machines right away: one for the upper bevel, and one for the underside.
Spare parts can be supplied quickly; we stock tools such as cutting wheels for steel and stainless steel.
