The 14 LA series bevel-helical gear units are three-stage gearboxes with hardened gears and welded housings. The shafts are mounted in rolling bearings. The slow-running shaft is designed as a hollow shaft. Torque transmission from the hollow shaft to the connecting shaft is via taper and keyway connections. These gear units can be operated in both rotational directions. The gear unit can be mounted to the right or left without requiring internal modification.
