VERTICAL ELECTRONIC GLASS DRILLING MACHINE
MODEL: PRIAM
YEAR OF MANUFACTURE: 2025 / BRAND NEW
The Priam model is a vertical glass drilling machine with two drill spindles (on both sides), developed for customers who are looking for a functional and easy-to-use piece of equipment that is also durable. In designing the machine, we relied on old-school mechanical engineering principles, using heavy, heat-treated steel frames and mechanical solutions that facilitate later operation and maintenance. This alternative approach to machine development and production ensures that our machine can drill glass reliably for years, thereby guaranteeing a substantial return on investment.
To ensure that the components of our glass drilling machine are manufactured with the utmost care, we produce them in Poland with the assistance of local partners. The main body of the machine is manufactured in-house and subsequently heat-treated and further processed at local facilities. This means that the entire production takes place under our strict supervision, allowing us to detect and correct any defects before the product is delivered to the customer. Ultimately, this also supports the local machinery industry.
The assemblies used in our machines comply with the highest European standards. Our suppliers include: SIEMENS, HITACHI, UNITRONICS, SCHNEIDER, GARLOCK.
Mechanical components are readily available and can be replaced quickly and easily during the operation of the machine.
Expoglass Priam – Glass Drilling Machine – Functionality at the Highest Level
⦁ 2 drill spindles (front and rear). These make it possible to drill through a glass pane in a single operation without having to turn it over.
⦁ Electronically controlled loading bar. To set the distance between the lower edge of the glass and the hole, simply enter the desired measurement on a touchscreen and the machine will automatically move into the correct position.
⦁ Quick drill change mode. Once the drill change button is pressed, both drill spindles are automatically locked (they cannot rotate). The vertical plate located between the two drills is lowered, creating ample distance between the drilling heads. This enables the drills to be removed without a wrench, with plenty of room for convenient handling.

⦁ Automatic (electronic) drill length and position measurement. After a drill change, the machine automatically calibrates: the drill length is measured. This allows the machine to determine the distance between the glass surface and the tip of each drill. This feature is critical in smaller workshops, where most holes are drilled individually rather than in series.
⦁ Automatic (electronic) determination of spindle depth positions. After automatic spindle calibration and upon glass plate placement, the machine measures the thickness of the glass and automatically sets the optimal spindle depth positions. The operator only needs to press the “Drill” button – the drilling process itself is then carried out fully automatically.
