Control: Comfort 2.0, with intuitive operation via click wheel, infinitely variable pulse/spot/standard modes (especially useful for TIG welding), adjustable pulse break ratio (balance), e.g. from 10-90%, Hz and kHz pulsing up to approx. 15kHz, ActivArc technology: dynamic arc regulation to ensure consistent performance during stick-out variations and to prevent electrode sticking; improved root and penetration characteristics, spotArc/Spotmatic functions for spot welding and tacking, 2-stroke/4-stroke modes selectable via torch trigger, integrated MMA welding (often with MMA-pulse automation), adjustable gas pre-flow and post-flow times, adjustable upslope/downslope times, torch modes controllable via torch trigger (e.g. reduced secondary current, etc.), memory/JOB storage: recurring welding tasks can be saved (depending on version, approx. 8-100 JOBs), energy efficiency: high efficiency, standby function available.

Remote control & interfaces: Remote adjusters and function torches can be connected, optional LAN/WiFi gateway (ewm Xnet), PC interfaces for parameter setting and monitoring.
