5. Technical Description
The machine operates using a wet grinding process and may only be used with a suitable grinding emulsion.

A band filter system is responsible for filtering grinding dust out of the emulsion.

The machine is equipped with an elastic grinding drum, which is used for regrinding and burr removal. Two counter-rotating flap brush rollers or, alternatively, stainless steel brush rollers are then used for edge rounding. Two subsequent spring steel brushes are used to remove oxide layers from the cut surfaces.

Within the machine, pressure rollers hold the workpieces down on the continuous conveyor belt to ensure they remain in position during the grinding process, which determines the minimum workpiece length of 350 mm.

At the machine's outlet, there is an integrated drying unit that dries the workpieces before they exit the machine.

The machine is fitted with a continuous conveyor belt for workpiece transport.

Special configurations may include an integrated vacuum extraction unit or magnetic conveyor, making it possible to process smaller workpieces. For non-magnetic small parts, a minimum length of 80 mm with a minimum area of 200 cm², and for magnetic small parts, a minimum length of 80 mm with a minimum area of 40 cm² is required.

All grinding and brush elements are equipped with spray tube nozzles, which continuously spray the tools with emulsion, enabling the processing of aluminum and its alloys.

The grinding residue is carried by the emulsion to the band filter unit and captured by an appropriate filter fleece.
