Our universal lathes and lathes with infinitely variable speed control in the PREMIUM CU series offer a wide range of features and accessories for customers from various industries.

The PREMIUM CU series allows precise adjustment of cutting speed to material and turning diameter – especially beneficial for non-ferrous metals, plastics, and to achieve perfect surfaces on precision components and fits.

Of particular note are the right/left control units attached to the tool slide, allowing easy switching between clockwise and counterclockwise spindle rotation. These replace the conventional change gears typically found on universal lathes.

Efficient handling is provided by electromechanical spindle brakes for ultra-fast spindle stops. The leadscrews are equipped with overload protection.
