The voltage supplied by the utility provider must meet the requirements of EN 50160 and IEC 60364-1. Stable voltage is essential for constant performance. The power supply must remain stable throughout the permissible network tolerance and must not be affected by surges, such as those caused by spot welding equipment. If such a stable supply cannot be ensured at the installation location, the system must be equipped with a transformer and/or a voltage stabilizer.
