The machine has very little backlash and all spindles move smoothly. Even at maximum speeds, the milling machine runs very quietly. On this newer FP1 model, the feed is infinitely variable in all three axes, and rapid traverse is also available on them. A major advantage is the active 3-axis digital readout. With the Heidenhain TNC 113 control, you can input dimensions and let the machine automatically travel to those positions. This FP1 was used in a training workshop and was only operated occasionally. Oil has been changed. The machine has been mechanically and electrically tested. The Heidenhain digital readout makes working easier and more precise.
