The FIVE clamping system consists of a series of height-adjustable columns that serve as workpiece holders. The columns are available in various heights, allowing for inspection of workpieces even in their later installed configuration.

An air cushion located at the base of the columns ensures smooth movement of the columns on the measuring plate. Powerful magnets lock the column in place as soon as the air supply decreases.

The measuring software guides a gripper, which is attached to the quill of the measuring machine, to the correct position. This allows the operator to quickly place the column at the calculated target point.

A wide range of interchangeable support and clamping modules allows specific referencing modules to be configured for each clamping position. The referencing modules ensure that the workpiece can be repeatedly attached to the FIVE column in a reproducible way. This means the workpiece can be removed from the measuring table at any time.

The accessories can be upgraded with new items according to customer requirements.
