A scrap shear is used for efficient scrap cutting:
- Simple automatic operation
- Energy-saving
- Cost-efficient
- No foundation required

The scrap shear is capable of cutting almost all types of scrap material.
Note: The machine is not recommended for cutting high-carbon steel,
such as: axles, wire ropes, pig iron, spring steel plates, rails, alloy steel, hubs, etc.
(These hard materials will damage the cutting blades)

Function:

Scrap is loaded into the feed area with an excavator. Due to the horizontal feed area and the scrap’s own weight, it falls down into the loading chamber and cutting area. The scrap is compressed against the front wall and is cut by the horizontally moving tool carrier over the blades mounted at the front wall. As the tool carrier moves horizontally, the processed material is extruded over the blades at the front of the container. When returning to the rear position, the loaded scrap moves into the shear under its own weight.

Scrap shears are available in various configurations according to customer requirements, and the output size can be selected (for new orders).

Inspection and trial operation are possible.
