APPLICATIONS
The S Series granulators are primarily used as large central granulators in in-house recycling applications for processing large, thick-walled parts in a single stage or as secondary granulators following a shredder, in order to achieve higher output rates and throughput.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The high-performance granulators from the S Series offer working widths from 600 to 1000 mm, with rotor diameters of 400 and 560 mm. The fully welded, heavy-duty steel construction is designed to withstand the most demanding and versatile applications. Rotor bearings, knife mounts, and rotor shafts are oversized for enhanced durability. The standard V-cut ensures high-quality regrind material with a very low proportion of fines in the output.

The removable third stator knife (optional) serves as a deflection wedge, enabling quick machine adaptation to different application scenarios. Additional standard features include externally adjustable knives, which help minimize contamination risk.

S SERIES – HIGH-PERFORMANCE GRANULATOR ADVANTAGES:
» The easily removable deflection wedge serves as the third stator knife and allows the aggressiveness of the rotor at the first cutting point to be adjusted.
» The V-cut technology produces high-quality regrind while simultaneously reducing energy consumption and noise.
» The heavy-duty bearings are separated from the cutting chamber to prevent lubricant ingress and bearing failure, thus avoiding material contamination.
» Both rotor and stator knives can be adjusted from the outside.
