APPLICATIONS
The granulators of the S-Series are mainly used as large central granulators for in-house recycling applications, to process large, thick-walled parts in a single stage or as a secondary granulator downstream of a shredder to achieve higher throughput rates and optimal results.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The high-performance mills of the S-Series offer working widths from 600 to 1000 mm with rotor diameters of 400 or 560 mm. The fully welded heavy-duty steel construction is designed to withstand the most demanding and universal applications. Rotor bearings, knife holders, and rotor shafts are oversized for increased durability. The standard V-cut ensures high-quality regrind with a very low proportion of fines in the output material. The removable third stator knife (optional) serves as a deflection wedge and allows for quick adaptation of the machine to different application scenarios. Standard features also include easily adjustable knives accessible from outside the machine, which reduces the risk of contamination.

» The high-performance bearings are isolated from the cutting chamber to prevent lubricant ingress and bearing failure, therefore eliminating potential material contamination.
