The CORMAK WS20 bench drill is a professional column drill for metal, specifically designed for drilling and tapping operations in industrial environments. With its robust construction, large spindle travel, and automatic tapping function, this machine delivers excellent performance and precision when machining metals, especially structural steel.

- Tapping function with automatic left-hand rotation engagement – enables fast and safe tapping up to M16 in steel.
- High structural rigidity – 85 mm diameter column and precision-machined, seasoned cast iron components (spindle head, base, and table) provide stability and vibration damping.
- 135 mm spindle travel – allows for deep drilling without the need to reposition the workpiece.
- Belt drive – five precisely selected spindle speeds ranging from 280–1875 rpm.
- Guards with limit switches – compliant with CE standards, enhancing operator safety.
- Large worktable with 360° rotation and T-slots – flexibility for fixture mounting.

Design and technology:

The CORMAK WS20 metalworking bench drill is built using high-quality materials. The spindle and transmission shafts are made from hardened steel for wear resistance. The spindle head, column, and table are manufactured from precisely machined and seasoned castings, ensuring overall rigidity. The Morse taper MK2 spindle allows for quick tool changeover and the use of various cutting tools.

Precision and performance:

Thanks to the stable column, large spindle stroke, and refined transmission, the machine ensures precise and repeatable hole drilling and tapping. The ergonomic control panel facilitates operation, while the powerful 1.1 kW motor enables efficient work even with difficult-to-machine materials.
