The refrigerated compressed air dryer is designed to lower the temperature of compressed air and remove water and oil particles contained in the airflow. Refrigeration dryers are essential in applications where humid air could cause corrosion, contamination, or damage to tools, machinery, or finished products. By removing moisture, the dryer increases the reliability and lifetime of compressed air systems.

The refrigerated dryer has been engineered for maximum efficiency and durability. The main construction components include:

1. Air-to-air heat exchanger

In the first stage of the process, inlet air passes through the heat exchanger, where it is pre-cooled by the colder air exiting the evaporator. Thanks to the use of counterflow, heat recovery enhances the overall energy efficiency of the system.

2. Refrigeration system evaporator

In the second stage, the compressed air enters the evaporator, where it is cooled to a dew point temperature of 3°C. This results in the condensation of contained water vapor and oil particles.

3. Condensate separator

After cooling, the gas and condensate mixture enters an efficient separator, where condensate is separated and automatically discharged outside the unit.

4. Fan control system

The variable-speed fan technology enables intelligent adjustment of cooling intensity to actual demand, reducing energy consumption and increasing component lifespan.
