CORMAK IMET KS652

The KS 652 is a double-column, semi-automatic band saw designed as the ideal working tool for professionals who need to cut bars, pipes, profiles, and other metal construction elements—with the possibility of cutting at angles up to 60° to the left and right.

Machine description:

- The KS series saws are the only machines in their class that allow cutting both to the left and right—simply set and close the vise. Once the material is placed, the user can set the angle and rotate the bow without reopening the vise or moving the bar. The vise moves laterally on the worktable, ensuring rapid access.
- The cutting frame is constructed from electrowelded tubular steel, ensuring high stability during cutting.
- Like all IMET saws, the KS model is equipped with a high blade tension (2000 kg/cm²) and a saw inclined at 6°, which improves feed, reduces load, and optimizes cutting even of large sections and solid materials.
- The wide worktable provides full support for the material. The machine is very user-friendly and easy to operate thanks to an automatic stop system within a range from 0° to 60° left/right, as well as an angular scale on the table to facilitate positioning of the cut.
- For increased cutting precision, IMET saws are equipped with a system for detecting angle deviation from the center.

- A mechanical material detection system ensures rapid approach to the material, automatically identifying the first contact point. The end of the cut is managed by a microswitch in the blade guide, ensuring precise blade positioning thanks to hard rollers and auxiliary bearings.
- All operating parameters and settings are managed via an independent, mobile control console with LED indicators for blade tension, blade guard, motor overheating, and voltage monitoring.
- The console enables setting the machine’s operational parameters: blade speed, descent speed, and end-of-cycle management (settings include: bow return with stopped blade, bow return with moving blade, or end of cycle without bow return).
- Cutting performance can be increased by using a 4 kW motor, hydraulic blade tensioner, and hydraulic high-tension system (2200 kg/cm²).
