The CORMAK H - 260 SA automatic column band saw is a highly efficient machine designed for automatic-cycle cutting of bars, tubes, and profiles made from steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous metals. Its robust body and sturdy saw frame, combined with a column-type construction, ensure excellent rigidity and an exceptional level of stability during cutting, even when processing the most challenging metals. The saw is equipped with a PLC controller and a user-friendly touchscreen interface.

The saw offers the option to cut in both manual and automatic modes.

Manual mode allows all operations to be performed directly from the machine panel.

Automatic mode – once the machine is started, the entire cutting cycle, including clamping the workpiece in the vise, feeding it to the set dimension to the cutting blade, lowering the arm for cutting, and lifting the arm to the desired height after the cut, is performed fully automatically without operator intervention.

Cutting parameters, such as the number of pieces to be cut, their dimensions, blade speed, and arm feed rate, are set via the control panel. The machine will stop automatically if the series is completed, the blade breaks, or the control system detects another malfunction.

The machine’s body is a cast iron base mounted on a rigid, spatial frame chassis. Inside the enclosure, you’ll find the hydraulic unit, coolant reservoir with pump, and a chip conveyor.

The blade drive is powered by an inverter-controlled motor, delivering smooth speed adjustment across a wide range. Hydraulic blade tensioning ensures optimal working conditions for the band. If the blade breaks, the machine stops automatically. A cooling system and cleaning brush ensure maximum cutting performance and extend blade life.

The hydraulic material feed system delivers a fully automatic work cycle. The control unit, equipped with an LCD display, allows programming of saw operations, signals end-of-material, communicates errors, and shows the number of parts cut after the programmed batch. The maximum material feed per stroke is 500 mm, with a feed accuracy of +/- 0.2 mm per stroke.
