Horizontal band saw with a swiveling arm for metal cutting, enables cutting in a plane perpendicular to the axis of the workpiece as well as at any angle from 0 to 60º. Material feeding can be performed manually or with any mechanical feeder, with automatic tool feed. The blade guides are equipped with dedicated carbide plates and bearings, which significantly affects blade guidance, its durability, cut straightness, precision, and cut quality.

The saw arm is made of profiled CAST IRON. The control panel is located next to the arm. The drive from the electric motor is transmitted to the drive wheel of the cutting blade via a worm gear motor. The blade is tensioned on two cast iron wheels with a manual tensioner and guided by an adjustable rolling and linear carbide guide set. There is a separate coolant reservoir with an electric pump inside. The descent speed of the arm (cutting speed) is adjusted with a hydraulic cylinder. Feed speed is controlled via the control panel. Two blade speeds are selectable: 36 and 72 m/min. In the rest position of the arm (after the cutting process), the blade drive is automatically switched off. Safety is ensured by the blade covers and microswitches that stop the motor after the cutting cycle or upon opening any of the covers; additional protection is provided by the automatic shutoff of the bandsaw in the event of blade breakage.
