INFINITY – The Vacuum Press System in Custom Lengths

The Columbus INFINITY is the new groundbreaking vacuum press system that can be engineered to any length desired by the user upon request.

The proprietary and namesake Infinity Principle, which allows the effective surface area to be extended in length almost infinitely and very cost-effectively, is applied to every single component. The system offers both maximum flexibility and highest efficiency: while the Infinity vacuum table and the rolling membrane system provide unlimited length, the multi-zone extraction guarantees maximum control. Thanks to this feature, only the section of the working surface currently in use is vacuumized.

Table base made from stable, welded steel construction with adjustable table legs. The tabletop is a 21 mm thick phenolic birch plywood panel.
A vacuum groove approximately 15 mm wide is milled along the table surface to seal the membrane.
The membrane is wound onto a reel and is manually unrolled onto the tabletop using a very smooth linear carriage.
A patented vacuum buffer tank is integrated into the table frame.
The vacuum pump has a capacity of 80 m³/hour.
The table surface features multiple vacuum grooves, divided into several suction zones.
