Coatema Easycoater

The Easycoater is designed to quickly and reliably produce product samples in DIN A4 or other substrate sizes. A wide slot die, a doctor blade, or a flat screen printing unit can be integrated for this purpose.

The Easycoater is controlled by a Siemens S7 unit, allowing reproducible manufacture of samples or small product series. The system is very easy to operate, and in addition to various coating and printing methods, electrically heated drying (as well as UV or infrared) can be used. The Easycoater is fully enclosed and can also be equipped with an explosion-proof (EEx) version. An extraction system is available in the coating area, and a glove box version with an inert atmosphere is also possible.

Both the high-precision granite coating table in a vacuum table design and the modular mounting for blade and slot die can be motor-driven. The travel paths of the unit under the application system and then under the dryer can be predefined, allowing exact synchronization for drying. In the option where the coating gap can be motor-adjusted, settings in the 1-µm range are possible at any time. The high level of precision enables use in technologies where outstanding accuracy is required.
