This 3-axis vertical machining center CHIRON FZ 12 KW was manufactured in 2012. Workpieces are fed automatically and sequentially loaded into the Chiron machining centers by two Fanuc industrial robots. After the machining process, the parts are removed. The robots then transfer the components to a transfer system, which conveys them to a downstream cleaning unit. The integrated washing line ensures reliable cleaning of the components in accordance with defined cleanliness specifications. After washing, two synchronized Fanuc robots take over the cleaned parts at the rear of the system. Depending on process requirements, the parts are either automatically palletized or further processed in a subsequent step, such as riveting. The entire system operates fully automatically.
