Operating principle of the tool testing press:
1. The main switch is activated by turning.
2. Then, the press lighting should be switched on.
3. The tool is placed into the pressure center of the press. If the tool requires greater force off-center (e.g., with combination tools where the first station punches thick sheets while subsequent stations only carry out fine work), it may be necessary to shift the tool slightly to the left or right so that the counterforce from the material acts as centrally as possible on the ram.
4. The lower tool is bolted to the press table, and the upper tool is then lowered.
5. To do this, switch on the pump at the control cabinet. The fall protection then releases the ram.
6. A slow pull on the control lever starts the downward movement. The more you pull, the faster the press operates. For safety reasons, the maximum downward speed is limited to 10 mm/sec.
7. The pressing force is set via a rotary knob, located to the right near the manual control lever.
8. After the ram reaches the upper tool, it is attached to the ram.
9. Any transport locks are removed if present, then the press is opened by pressing the manual lever. The speed of the upward movement can be continuously adjusted from 0 to 25 mm/sec using the manual lever.
