Blobel one-sided pivoting containment barrier

The ideal solution for securing the area around a lifting platform or dock leveller.

This barrier is permanently installed and pivotable on one side, easy to operate, versatile in application, and can be flexibly upgraded from manual to automatic operation.

The pivot and clamping mechanism is securely mounted adjacent to the opening to be protected and sealed against the building structure. The barrier body is bolted into the pivot joint and, when not in use, remains in a vertical resting position beside the opening. It is secured against accidental lowering in compliance with accident prevention regulations (UVV).

For operation, the barrier is unlocked, swung down, and locked into the clamping device. The contact pressure of the clamping lever is adjustable to ensure reliable sealing.

The barrier body is manually lowered in the standard version; an automatic upgrade is available as an option.

Brackets and barrier bodies are preferably powder-coated in RAL 3020 (traffic red). All other metal parts are galvanized or made of aluminium.

Suitable for crack-free surfaces with minor floor unevenness, such as concrete, patterned and checker plate to DIN 59220, tiles, or stone.
