The semi-automatic, hydraulic saws of the X-tech line offer top-tier sawing technology and maximum performance when cutting specialty steels.
- The electro-welded machine frame and the steel saw frame meet all cutting requirements and eliminate vibrations and noise.
- The chip conveyor is hydraulically driven and the speed is adjustable.
- All machine motions (saw frame, vice, feed, saw band guides) are enabled by modern linear guides with high static and dynamic load capacity, guaranteeing very low sliding friction.
- Another key feature is the material positioning rollers, which are powered by a hydraulic motor. These move at a right angle to the material, allowing for optimal clamping.
- Thanks to the saw band position height control, the operator can position the band close to the material’s upper edge. After cutting, the band automatically returns to the previous position; alternatively, the 'remain' option in the lower position can be selected. During the cutting cycle, the software compares cutting force with preset values and can stop the sawing system in case of irregularities.
- The saw band is cleaned by two adjustable steel brushes, which are hydraulically driven.
- The hydraulic unit, including filter and manometer, ensures especially smooth operation at constant pressure.
- Precision ground carbide inserts clamp the saw band, complete with lateral, hardened, and adjustable guide rollers. The adjustable band guide automatically moves as close as possible to the material.
- The saw band is tensioned by a hydraulic cylinder, controlled by the machine software. Tension is automatically released after a preset time when the machine is idle or after a cycle is completed.
- Automatic version with CNC control available for the X-TECH 900 / 1200 models with a feed length of 500 mm for high production series.
- The material is supported by a table with seven rollers, powered by a hydraulic orbital motor, allowing precise material positioning even under maximum load.
- All guided motions are facilitated by four ball circulation guides with high static and dynamic load capacities; significantly reduced feed friction. Hardened and ground prismatic guides.
