The Baumer Type ISM (model IS-M) vertical foam saw is a high-precision automatic foam cutting machine manufactured by Albrecht Bäumer (Germany). Featuring a moving cutting head and fixed table, it provides outstanding rigidity and exceptional cutting accuracy, making it ideal for trimming foam blocks and producing sheets or rectangular cuts in the foam industry.

- Usable block dimensions: width 1,250 mm (options up to 2,500 mm), height 1,300 mm (options 650 / 1,500 mm), length 2,200 mm (options 2,500 / 3,100 mm).
- Maximum cutting speed: 40 m/min (continuously adjustable depending on material).
- Precision-sharpened endless blade (width 6 to 20 mm) – available as smooth, toothed, or set (wavy) blade for hard or insulating foams.
- Cutting possible in both directions to minimize production times.
- Motorized right-hand side stop + foldable left stop (for easy loading).
- Anodized aluminium worktable with optional air cushion system.
- Automatic motorized grinding unit + pneumatic blade tensioning.
- Motorized height-adjustable blade guide for even more precise cuts close to the block.

Flexible PU foams (ether, ester, HR, viscoelastic, reticulated), PE foams, EVA, foam rubber, latex, EPDM, rock wool/glass wool, Basotect®, rigid PU foams, EPP, etc. Perfect for the mattress industry, furniture (cushions, seats), protective packaging, and automotive applications.
