The BAC S15E 1018-10-LE is a high-performance open cooling tower from the S1500E series by Baltimore Aircoil Company (BAC).

- Airflow: According to BAC spec, the S15E 1018-10 LE actively moves 60.0 m³/s of air through three integrated 11.0 kW axial fan motors.
If fan speed is reduced by variable frequency drive (for example, during night operation or in winter), cooling capacity decreases proportionally.
- Approach: This is the most important thermodynamic limit. It represents the difference between the desired cold water temperature and the physical wet-bulb temperature. The closer the cold water approaches the wet-bulb temperature (smaller approach), the less kW capacity the tower provides.
