Packaging line for the production and packaging of wet wipes such as hygienic wipes, cleaning wipes, care wipes, and disinfectant wipes. The manufacturing process includes unwinding the nonwoven material from the parent roll, longitudinal slitting for 2-lane operation (through to packaging), liquid impregnation, longitudinal folding into Z- or W-shape, cross-cutting (wipe length), one cross-fold, stacking, and transfer to the packaging unit. The packaging unit manages film feed and wrapping of the wet wipes, die-cutting (for wipe removal), and placement of the resealable label, as well as pouch cutting and heat sealing. Integrated splicing units increase efficiency during material, film, and label roll changes.
