Semi-automatic tray sealer with MAP (modified atmosphere packaging) and vacuum function. Prior to sealing the tray, a protective atmosphere can be created by injecting a protective gas mixture and/or generating a vacuum. By displacing oxygen, e.g., food items remain fresher and have a longer shelf life. Optionally, a skin vacuum module can be integrated into the packaging machine for an additional charge. The AMTEC tray sealer is therefore particularly suitable for food processing operations. Price includes thermal transfer printer for best-before date or batch number. PLC by OMRON, touchscreen by WEINVIEW, servo motors by Panasonic, pneumatic valves and cylinders by AIRTAC.
