The welding fumes generated at the worksite are captured, among other ways, via extraction arms and hoods and conveyed through ductwork to the intake nozzle of the AL-KO CLEAN UNIT F. In a large pre-separation chamber, coarse particles are separated out. The subsequent filter cartridges, rated dust class 'M', then filter out the remaining fine particulates. During extraction operation, the differential pressure-controlled filter cleaning system removes adherent particles from the filter cartridges. Venturi nozzles on the filter cartridges enhance the cleaning effect, ensuring consistent extraction performance and a long filter lifespan. A flow monitoring system continuously supervises the required extraction rate and issues a warning if the target value is not met. The collected dust is deposited in an easily movable container. The purified air is returned to the room from the top of the unit.
